WHY I WROTE THIS NOVEL THE WAY I DID....
There are many theories about why the events of The Salem Witch Trials unfolded the way they did. They include everything from battling neighbors to superstition to ergot fungus poisoning. When I read the frightening true life transcripts of the trials I asked the question; what if something evil truly was moving among the people of Salem? I let my imagination run wild. I thought of all the "invisible worlds" that exist--microbes, gravity, electricity, hidden cultures, among many others. Why not an Invisible World of spirits and demons? |

Invisible World
Synopsis:
For 15-year-old Elsabeth, having a scientist father is a blessing. He doesn't bat an eye at her psychic abilities, since he researches them; and she knows more about the invisible worlds of microbes, electricity, and gravity than most girls in the 17th Century. But when Elsabeth travels from Britain to Salem, Massachusetts, her abilities get her into trouble. Can Sarah save herself when she's accused of witchcraft? Or will she be sentenced to hang?
